And Then She Said…

I guess you could say my weekend led into a busy week, so I didn’t exactly get around to posting right away as soon as I put the layout up.

Friay night, I forced my boyfriend to take me to the movies to see The Dark Knight at 1AM to try and avoid a huge crowd. It was [of course] still packed, but we managed to get a fairly decent seat that was a nightmare to sit in for nearly three hours. I don’t know why I anticipated the sequel so much, because I didn’t really care for Batman Begins all that much. Partially because I thought the others were much better and also because I think Katie Holmes is a terrible actress. Anyway, I thought this one was a lot better and Heath Ledger did a phenomenal job in it.

Saturday we woke up early… Uhm, earlier than usual. This weekend was my boyfriend’s 23rd birthday, so we went on his side of town. He had an appointment to get his knuckles tattooed on Saturday as a birthday gift, so we decided to sleep at his house because we went out to dinner with his parents for his birthday on Sunday. Overload on pasta and cheesecake, but darn tasty! Then we came back to my house on Sunday night and just layed around on Monday being lazy since he had work off for his birthday.

Ok, so my weekend wasn’t exactly “busy,” but you know how these weekends go. I wanted to spend every moment with him for his birthday weekend.

Speaking of birthdays, my 22nd birthday is right around on the corner. Egh, I guess it really is “downhill from here.” Haha, I like celebrating other’s birthdays and I’m always the first one to want to bake cakes and do silly cute stuff for people’s birthdays, but this year I’m just not anticipating my own. I had planned on making something out of it with some sort of “theme,” but it just doesn’t seem worth it this year. My birthday falls on a Friday, so I think I’ll just do my tradition of dinner with my family. My sister and her husband might actually be in town to pick up my nephew, so I might just do that with my family and my boyfriend. Then, that Saturday I might gather my best friends & such and do some cheesy activity like a water park or something. I know that seems stupid, but I like those sorts of things. Maybe a bar here or there, but I’m not anticipating anything too exciting. We’ll see how it goes. :)

Applescripts. Oh, oh applescripts. I saw; I conquered.. And then politely told it to “Piss off!” Not worth all the trouble just to get a cleaner and prettier iTunes overlay to broadcast via my webcam. Eh.. It happens though. If any of you fellow cammers out there are devoted Mac users such as myself, you can download the script here and then knock your socks off.

I figured nothing gets you in the mood to blog more than a new layout, so why not? Nice and clean. Easy peasy nice and eaaaaaaaaasy.

I have more to post later, but I’m going to run and attempt to be.. Not so useless. And I’m sure some things needs to be fixed. We’ll worry about that one later, K?
